Probably you will be hearing some video poker terms that you may or may not be familiar with when you play video poker. Here are the most commonly used terms with their corresponding definitions.

Bank Roll
It is the amount of money that is available to be wagered. Since it is the available money to bet, never play with a bigger bankroll than you can afford to lose.

Cash Out
This is to collect all your winnings out of the machine by pressing out the cash out button on the button panel of the machine.

Comps
Comps are rewards earned while playing at the casino. Comps is compensation for short. Among the rewards that can be earned include free meals, tickets, perks, cash back or free rooms.

Credits
It is the virtual coin used in playing, which worth a dollar. When you insert a $20 you will get 20 credits to play with. Wins are also listed in credits.

Draw
When you are playing a hand of cards and when you obtain new cards, it is termed as draw.

Flush
Five cards of the same suit.

Four of a Kind
It is termed to four cards that have the same face value.

Full House
Your cards consist of three of a kind and a pair.

Jackpot
You are paid a jackpot if you bet the maximum and if you get the highest ranking hand.

Royal Flush
Your card has a sequential high straight of the same suit. It is normally the highest ranking.

Straight
This is any five cards in sequence not necessary of the same suit.

Wild Card
This is the card that can substitute for any card in order to increase your winning possibilities.
